OXFORD COOPERATIVE THEATER COMPANY

The Oxford Cooperative Theatre Company (OCTC) is a theatrical group comprised of Christian homeschool students, with oversight by parent advisors. The mission of the OCTC is to provide students with a hands-on experience of running a theatre company and to help students gain an understanding of many different aspects of a theatre production.  Our goal is to produce Christian adults during drama activities, honoring God in all we do. Student participation ranges across a wide variety of areas including costumes, set design and construction, props, lighting, sound, advertisement and promotion, directing and acting. The OCTC emphasizes student leadership, innovation, and team cooperation. The OCTC was established in the fall of 2002 as part of the Oxford Christian Home School Cooperative. An annual spring production is typically performed.
